About Painted with Love
Hello. My name is Claire Witz and I am Painted with Love. I hand-paint each and every piece to order especially for you to make it a beautiful, high quality and completely unique gift that you are excited to give.
And no short-cuts or cheating, I only use the best quality artists’ materials and prepare surfaces properly so that they’ll be just as beautiful in years to come. I strive to make the gift you commission special and something that will be treasured for always.
I love to help you celebrate and commemorate the most important moments and people in life. My commissions have included wedding proposals, someone finding out he’s going to be a daddy, thank you gifts for a consultant and team of nurses in Canada who helped save a boy’s life and memorial hearts for parents who’ve lost a child.
I’ve also painted a wide range of bespoke corporate signs and gifts over the years, with clients including PepsiCo, Adnams, The Arabian Tent Company, Ellenor Hospice, Hushabye Photography, Reel Love Films, several wedding planners, as well as shops, beauty salons and hairdressers.
Rather excitingly, my paintings are all over the world, including India, Qatar, Australia, South Africa, Greece, Yemen, USA, Hong Kong, Dubai and lots of other countries. I can hardly believe it sometimes!
Please take a look through my shop, bespoke gallery and Arabic gallery for inspiration and ideas. These are just a starting point – everything can be personalised with different wording or be in different colours/designs.
I’m a UK-based artist with over 20 years’ experience painting in acrylics and watercolours, a degree in Arabic & Islamic Studies and have lived in North Africa.
I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember and have been “the arty one” since primary school. After way too many years commuting to an office job in London, in 2009 I took the plunge and gave up my job to paint full time. It’s been a very exciting journey and the best decision I ever made.
I work from my studio in the lovely old spa town Royal Tunbridge Wells with my husband (Executive Sign Cutter and Driller of Holes in Hearts) and our two beautiful children. I like country walks with our little rescue dog Peanut, a good old natter, family cuddles in front of the fire and growing weeds on my allotment.
